东方小交响乐团

东方小交响乐团，创立于2006年，是一支立足于上海、兼容职业发展与培训专业乐队人才的交响乐团。其致力于拉近古典音乐与普通大众间的距离，从而推动中国、上海，尤其是浦东新区的交响乐事业发展。

乐团邀请许忠先生担任音乐总监。除了坚持推广古典音乐外，乐团还锐意打造“文化精英”，通过整合国际最佳资源，为旗下的音乐家们提供专业及职业素养培训和大量演出机会，积极推动他们进一步成就个人艺术生涯。正是因为如此，常年担任声部首席的资深演奏家，在国际乐坛已享有一定声誉的海归人士，从音乐院校毕业的佼佼者，一批当今中国乐界的精英人才聚集于此。 这种人才的组合和能量的积蓄势必为古典音乐界注入一股清新而强大的力量，从而加速推动交响乐在上海的普及与发展，并提升上海这一国际大都市在整个亚太地区乃至全世界的文化地位。

乐团为上海东方艺术中心驻厅乐团，也是上海东方市民系列音乐会的指定乐团之一。2006年10月10日，东方小交响乐团以纪念莫扎特诞辰250周年为主题，携手上海九龙爱乐与环球唱片公司Decca品牌联合推出了自己的首场音乐季演出。2007年11月，乐团为第四届中国上海国际钢琴比赛举行了开幕式演出，与五位世界著名钢琴大师合作演奏了贝多芬的全套五首钢琴协奏曲。

在乐团音乐季中，乐团与国内外知名音乐演奏家和团体合作，其中包括王健、雅赫·布雷、奥托·诺拉斯、米歇尔·拉耶科、皮耶托·帕莱契尼、中村紘子、多米尼克·墨赫莱、米哈伊尔·鲁迪、约翰·欧考诺、伯瑞斯·伯尔曼和伊安·霍普森、让·波尔纳·伯米耶等。

目前，乐团已获得国际著名音乐经纪公司、一流唱片公司和海内外音乐节的合作邀请。2008年6月，乐团在音乐总监许忠率领下出访北欧，在芬兰纳坦利国际音乐节开幕式上举行了极为成功的演出，得到芬兰主流媒体的高度评价。2008年7月，许忠率乐团与王健成功合作于香港艺术中心。2009年5月，乐团首次出访法国，于南特、昂热等5个城市举行了7场音乐会，受到了当地法国听众和音乐评论界的热烈欢迎。

Shanghai Sinfonietta

The Shanghai Sinfonietta was founded in 2006 in a spirit of musical popularization and fosterage. As the resident ensemble of Shanghai Oriental Art Center based in Pudong New Area, it is committed to pushing the boundaries of musical art, and furthering the cause of symphonic music in China through professional training and career development.

Under the direction of Xu Zhong, the Shanghai Sinfonietta is created as ‘Elite Orchestra’ consisting of the best musicians in and out of China. By integrating international resources, the orchestra is able to provide specialized and professional training and numerous performing opportunities for its musicians, which play a positive role in their art careers. This attracts a great many Chinese music elites into the orchestra; among them are senior musicians, overseas world-renowned musicians, top graduates from music colleges, etc. This energetic combination of talents is sure to bring freshness and strength into the classical music world, thus accelerating the popularization and the development of symphony in shanghai and promoting this international metropolis’ cultural status in the entire Asian-Pacific region and even the world as a whole.

On October 10th 2006, the Shanghai Sinfonietta started its first music season by a concert, which not only marks the beginning of its national tour, but also serves as release ceremony of the record co-produced by Decca Music Group (Universal) and Xu Zhong for the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth.

In its music seasons, the Shanghai Sinfonietta collaborates with an illustrious array of international and domestic musicians and groups, including Jian Wang, Arto Noras, Gérard Poulet, Michel Lethiec, Piotr Paleczny, Hiroko Nakamura, Dominique Merlet, Mikhail Rudy, John O'Conor, Boris Berman, Ian Hobson, Jean - Bernard Pommier and etc.

The Shanghai Sinfonietta has been invited to perform in music festivals both at home and abroad, such as Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, Shanghai International Art Festival, Naantali Music Festival and so on. In June 2008, it was invited to hold Opening Series Concerts for Naantali Music Festival. In July 2008, it hold the concert tour in Hong Kong together with Jian Wang. In May 2009, it hold the first France tour of 7 concerts in Nante, Angers, Saumur, Bergerac and Sérignan.

What’s more, it will become one of the appointed orchestras in Oriental Citizen Concerts. The orchestra has accepted the invitations from world-famous music agency companies and the first-class recording companies to kick off an Europe tour in 2010. It will visit countries such as France, Spain, Finland and also have the plan to make music records.
